Update 11-June-2010:
Our 2nd 10-man group has also successfully defeated the Lich King on heroic difficulty! This means we now officially have 20 players with the “Bane of the Fallen King” title and are capable of defeating Heroic Lich King 25. Great work by both teams & let’s not forget those who had to be on standby ^_^.
Bane of the Fallen King
Server 3rd, Oceanic 11th.
And here’s the 2-part video of the guild’s first Bane of the Fallen King kill.
We’re currently recruiting many classes for a Heroic Lich King (25-man) kill, if you think you have what it takes – visit our Recruitment page for more information!
Checked World of Logs and Team GCG now officially holds the speed kill record for Rotface (10-man) as of 1st Feb 2010 with a time of 1:44! Though this record doesn’t really mean a lot, it still gives me a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling to know we’re the fastest in the world at it…
Our ‘strategy’ was to zerg down Rotface before his slimes would overwhelm us or explode denying us the achievement Dancing with Oozes. We ran with 1 tank, 9 dps and 1 healer (resto druid). We used a hunter to kite the Big Ooze.
Here’s the logs if you are interested:
Our melee did impressive damage considering the limited buffs we have in the 10-man version, and a couple of them were ranked top 10 in terms of damage done for their class and spec. Well done and keep up the good work! We have a lot to do this coming week!
Here’s the video for our 1st Blood Princes kill. Wasn’t a clean kill but we got the Orb Whisperer achievement as well so it was all good!
As promised, Clique delivered with a Tribute to Insanity a month after we got Mad Skill. But the road wasn’t as smooth as we initially thought. Week after week, there’s always something different to cause us to wipe. We must have seen almost every conceiveable screw-up that could happen (too embarrassing to mention here), but nevertheless we perservered and was rewarded at last…

This week the stars finally aligned and we had some good fortune along the way, helping us to complete ToGC without wiping once. Great timing as we cleared all Coliseum content just before the new gate (the Plagueworks) opens. An excellent way to start off the new year, and may this good luck will follow us through ICC!
Many thanks to those who contributed but had to sit out for Anub’arak, and to to those who took part in the kill — a job well done and keep up the great work!
The usual Over-achievers group got around to doing this achievement last night and got it in typical Clique fashion — on our last attempt of the night. We don’t have our own video to show but even better, we have come up with a Strategy Guide for you! Good luck in getting this achievement, it was quite fun!

Congrats to our 10 new Herald of the Titans for defeating Algalon while using Ulduar 10-player gear.
Exitt, Cherak, Bushhealer, Mesias, Trilliance, Wheretodo, Maxar, Stroke, Tulang, Paxman
Special mention to Bushhealer for his effort in organising this run and providing the raid with enchants and consumables (Thanks for the Intellect scrolls)!
Other notables include Mesias who wasn’t able to find a suitable weapon and ended purchasing a Bind on Account weapon for the encounter, and Wheretodo who was frantically making Saronite bullets after the pull after realising he was using the new Iceblade arrows from ICC! We wiped a couple of times, but the kill attempt was as clean as it could go. We beat the enrage timer with 20 seconds to spare.
Here are some photos to show:
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.
Glory to the newborn king.
Merry Christmas everyone!
After a few weeks of farming Tribute to Insanity, we finally decided to dig up our old gear *dust* and do Trial of the Grand Crusader the way it was meant to be done.
Congrats to the ten dedicated & insane men below on their new spanking new titles.
Argent Defenders
Exitt, Jenagaine (Tanks)
Fieryshadow, Astina, Screwy, Wonders, Evirob (DPS)
Deathic, Fullcream, Trilliance (Healers)
Just as in TBC, the once exclusive flying mounts that were available only to those who excelled in highest echelons of arena are now available to the masses!
The Frostbrood are elite frost wyrms that were raised from the bones of blue dragons at Sindragosa’s Fall. These frost wyrms are now one of the strongest weapons the Scourge have. They consist of Frostbrood Whelps, Drakes (Vanquishers), and the mighty wyrms themselves. Sindragosa is the leader of the Frostbrood and was the first Frostbrood raised, she was raised by the Lich King himself.
The Bloodbathed Frostbrood Vanquisher and Icebound Frostbrood Vanquisher are now confirmed rewards from Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10-player) and Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25-player) respectively. This alone should give us enough motivation to strive for these achievements! I’m getting pretty excited…
